The GMC Hummer EV Pickup & SUV
The first-ever Hummer EV went into production in 2022, as the Pickup model. This electric truck was marked by its appearance, as all first editions are white with a black roof and bronze-colored wheels. The iconic "Crab Walk" mode was introduced in this model, which boasts the impressive ability to travel diagonally using four-wheel steering.
Some of its other impressive features include UltraVision underbody cameras for cautious off-roading, adaptive air suspension, steel underbody armor, and "Extract Mode," which provides an additional lift to the suspension; in this mode, you have a high ground clearance, water-fording depth, and wall-climbing ability.
The Hummer EV also comes with an Infinity Roof, a series of removable roof panels that allow you to create an immersive open-air experience for your outdoor adventures. Also present are high-definition displays, an ultrawide infotainment touchscreen, in-vehicle apps for configuring your Hummer EV, and GM's Super Cruise, a semi-autonomous hands-free driving tool compatible on hundreds of thousands of miles of highway across North America.
Like any GMC model, you'll also get a suite of driver assistance features, which include Adaptive Cruise Control, Enhanced Automatic Parking Assist, Enhanced Automatic Emergency Parking, Lane Change Alert with Blind Zone Alert, Front and Rear Park Assist, Front Pedestrian Braking, IntelliBeam Auto High Beams, and Safety Alert Seat, among others.
GMC Hummer EV Pickup
Each year has brought improvements to the GMC Hummer EV Pickup, building upon the same quality features that drivers love, such as the MultiPro tailgate, eTrunk, and Watts to Freedom, which unleashes the Hummer EV's astounding acceleration of zero-to-sixty in approximately 3.5 seconds. The MultiPro tailgate improves accessing, loading, and unloading the cargo bed, while the eTrunk has a 12-volt power outlet, interior lighting, and four cargo D-rings, making it the perfect place to store your modular sky panels.
The Hummer EV Pickup has two different powertrain options: one with three electric motors, outputting best-in-class horsepower and torque figures and an EPA-estimated range of over three hundred miles in all-wheel drive, or a standard two-motor setup that still gets exceptional horsepower and torque figures as well as a comparable electric range in all-wheel drive.
Additionally, a limited version of the Hummer EV Pickup—the Omega Edition—offered a distinctive appearance, featuring a Neptune Blue Matte exterior paint and 18-inch gloss-black beadlock-capable wheels. This exclusive trim came with the same high-performance specs as its base counterpart but with a unique exterior that set it apart on the road.
GMC Hummer EV SUV
The first Hummer EV SUV debuted in 2024 with a similar powertrain variety, with three electric motors as its paramount option; this, like in the Pickup model, delivers an EPA-estimated range of over three hundred miles in all-wheel drive, as well as best-in-class horsepower and torque figures. Similarly, its Watts to Freedom feature ensures it accelerates from zero to sixty in three seconds.
Also like the Pickup, the Hummer EV SUV has a two-motor powertrain setup that comes standard, getting high horsepower and torque figures and an EPA-estimated range of three hundred miles in all-wheel drive. The SUV model's first version likewise had a limited Omega Edition with the same stand-out exterior appearance. Any trim of the Hummer EV SUV offers the same Infinity Roof and impressive technology as the Pickup model; the storage is different here, though, with an impressively large interior cargo area that includes rear folding and reclining seats, as well as a cargo floor that lifts for concealed storage.
