What Is CarBravo And BudgetBravo? Here’s Everything You Need To Know

The way to shop for cars has consistently evolved over the years, from buying exclusively from lots to buying at auctions to buying online. Through these changes, one thing has always been clear: many shoppers still want a used car dealership they can trust, while making use of modern amenities for convenient shopping. That’s where Carbravo and BudgetBravo come into the picture. CarBravo and BudgetBravo are certified pre-owned vehicle programs offered by participating GM dealerships that allow shoppers to browse, finance, and purchase used vehicles online or in person, with added warranty protections and inspection standards. They also provide shoppers with a more streamlined and reliable way to purchase pre-owned vehicles, both online and in person. Think of CarBravo as a certified used vehicle marketplace connected to participating GM dealerships across the country. The service combines the convenience of online shopping with the support and inspection standards traditionally associated with dealership-certified inventory. BudgetBravo is similar but focuses on older, higher-mileage vehicles at lower price points. more How CarBravo Started In 2022, General Motors announced a new way for customers nationwide to shop. CarBravo was introduced as a digital shopping platform connected to participating dealership inventory, allowing customers to shop for certified used vehicles both online and in person. One major advantage of CarBravo is that shoppers can browse both GM and non-GM vehicles through participating dealerships, greatly expanding the available inventory. This allows shoppers to browse a wider selection of pre-owned vehicles through CarBravo. CarBravo also introduced a digital shopping platform, allowing customers to browse CarBravo listings seamlessly online. Once you find the vehicle you want to purchase, you can either visit the nearest dealership with the vehicle in stock to test-drive it or complete much or all of the purchase online, depending on the participating dealership. What Is BudgetBravo? GM expanded the traditional Certified Pre-Owned shopping experience by giving customers the flexibility to complete part or all of the process online. The CarBravo shopping experience is connected to participating GM-affiliated dealerships, and one of its branches is BudgetBravo. BudgetBravo was created as a more flexible alternative to CarBravo, allowing older and higher-mileage vehicles to qualify while still offering shoppers limited warranty coverage and inspection standards. While it doesn't cover as many components and systems with the warranty as CarBravo, it still offers a strong alternative to standard used car shopping. BudgetBravo provides shoppers with more options at lower prices. You can shop for cars, trucks, vans, hybrids, EVs, and SUVs via the online inventory or the dealer's local inventory. What Sets CarBravo Apart One of the biggest differences between CarBravo and traditional used vehicle shopping is the added inspection standards and warranty coverage included with eligible vehicles. You can access a dealer's inventory through CarBravo to find a vehicle near you, or shop online for a vehicle that fits your preferences, regardless of location. Compared to many traditional used vehicle purchases, CarBravo vehicles include standardized inspection requirements, warranty coverage, and additional ownership support. All open safety recalls must be completed before a vehicle is listed or sold, as well, ensuring a high standard for vehicles available for sale. The Standard Limited Warranty covers eligible warrantable repairs, including many major vehicle components. When you shop for a CarBravo vehicle, you're entitled to protections that provide additional peace of mind compared with many traditional used vehicle purchases. Some of these benefits include: Standard Limited Warranty: 12-months or 12,000 miles for vehicles 10-model years or newer with less than 100,000 miles on them, and a $0 deductible. Multi-Point Inspection: Every CarBravo vehicle undergoes a 126-point inspection that evaluates major mechanical, interior, and exterior components before being listed for sale. Vehicle History Report: Each vehicle sold through the CarBravo program comes with a CarFax vehicle history report detailing its service, ownership, and maintenance history. Courtesy Transportation: If your vehicle requires warranty repairs, CarBravo provides courtesy transportation or reimbursement for a temporary vehicle. Roadside Assistance: CarBravo purchases include 24/7 roadside assistance as part of the warranty coverage. Limited OnStar Subscription: There is a one-month OnStar subscription for the connected services, such as Automatic Crash Response and Roadside Assistance. Limited SiriusXM Trial: Eligible purchases also come with a three-month SiriusXM Satellite Radio trial. GM Rewards: Earn GM Rewards when purchasing a CarBravo vehicle with a GM Rewards membership, and redeem them for eligible rewards. BravoBudget Benefits For shoppers looking for a more affordable option, BravoBudget offers many benefits, but for vehicles at a lower price while still offering certain protections for your purchase. The requirements are less strict for BravoBudget purchases, giving you leeway in what you shop for based on your budget and needs. For drivers who want to explore a broader range of vehicles, including older or higher-mileage options, the BravoBudget vehicles offer an opportunity to find something suitable within your purchasing preferences without straining your finances. The benefits are slightly different for BravoBudget, though. Even with the lower pricing structure, BravoBudget vehicles still include several inspection and ownership support features associated with CarBravo, such as a 62-point inspection and a recall verification process. You also have full access to a vehicle history report. Some additional BravoBudget benefits include: Standard Limited Warranty: Vehicles are between 10 - 15 model years or have between 100,000 and 150,000 miles on the odometer. Coverage is 30 days or 1,000 miles. Repairs at Any CarBravo Dealership: Warranty repairs can be performed at participating CarBravo Certified Service Centers. No Extra Costs For Repairs: Any repairs done under warranty at a CarBravo-affiliated dealership have no extra costs. 24/7 Roadside Assistance: You have access to 24/7 roadside assistance support in case anything happens. Why Shoppers Choose CarBravo Many shoppers choose CarBravo for its convenience and seamless buying experience. It’s the easiest way to shop for a certified used vehicle with added certified standards. The streamlined process gives shoppers the flexibility to complete most of the purchase online while still working directly with a trusted local dealership. All you have to do is use the CarBravo website or affiliated dealership website to find the vehicle you want, complete the online loan applications, submit the necessary documents, and have the vehicle delivered (where available) or pick it up at the dealership. The simplified process works well for nearly every type of shopper, from busy commuters to first-time buyers. The CarBravo collaboration with local dealerships means you can browse deals nearby from affiliated car dealerships at low prices, and you receive extra protections when buying a used CarBravo or BudgetBravo vehicle. Additionally, there are added services to enhance the long-term support of your vehicle with optional protection packages. Enhancing Your Purchase With BravoCare While some used vehicle purchases may come with limited coverage, BravoCare gives shoppers the option to add extended protection plans for additional long-term confidence.  The ability to purchase additional safeguards for the vehicle through tiered plans adds peace of mind. The ability to enhance your purchase with additional coverage options is a major advantage for many certified used vehicle shoppers. CarBravo offers this through the BravoCare protection plans, which are available for vehicles purchased from CarBravo. If you want extended safeguards for your CarBravo purchase, you can purchase the BravoCare plans for additional security and confidence. BravoCare provides additional long-term support in addition to the standard CarBravo warranty coverage. These benefits include: Protection Plans: Coverage for up to 1,500 parts, depending on the plan, with roadside assistance support and rental car coverage. Pre-Paid Maintenance: For the duration of the plan, your tire rotations, oil changes, and oil filters are covered. Tire & Wheel Protection: Protects damaged tires or wheels in the event of a hazard. GAP Coverage: Can provide financial security if your vehicle is declared a total loss, with help waiving some or all of the difference owed on the vehicle. A Large Inventory Of Vehicles To Choose From One of the biggest benefits of using CarBravo is that, because of its affiliation with GM dealerships, you have access to a nationwide selection of vehicles. The ability to either pick up your vehicle at a dealership or have it delivered adds another layer of convenience to the purchasing process. Having both GM- and non-GM-branded vehicles in the inventory also expands the options beyond a limited set of certified pre-owned vehicles. CarBravo offers the opportunity to drive many popular nameplates from different brands, backed by the certified assurances and warranty benefits CarBravo provides. This gives shoppers the opportunity to find a vehicle from a wide range of body styles and brands. Whether you’re browsing for a subcompact sedan or a full-size truck, CarBravo makes it easy to find a vehicle in the make, model, trim, and configuration you want. Filter By Your Shopping Preferences Sometimes, shopping for a vehicle at a car dealership can feel overwhelming because there seem to be many options and few ways to refine your search by specific criteria. However, CarBravo allows shoppers to easily filter and refine the search based on a number of configurable properties. You can narrow your filter by body type, make and model, year, and mileage, by performance or by features. It’s even possible to modify your preferences by color, seating, and more. It makes online used car shopping easier than ever before. The inventory spans all different types of driving styles as well. From daily driving and off-road recreation to commuting and ride-sharing, the options are vast. Whether you prioritize fuel economy, cargo space, towing capability, or advanced technology, CarBravo makes it easier to narrow your search for certified used vehicles that match your driving needs. Eight Terrific Used SUVs for Growing Families

When helping our customers shop for a vehicle, the most important thing for us is getting to know you and figuring out what you are looking for so we can help you find it. For some folks, a small SUV is the perfect choice when looking for a used car that's fun to drive every day, especially if they want something with great gas mileage. If you have a growing family, however, you probably need something larger that can fit everything you need to bring along. As your used car dealership, we know it doesn’t just mean your kids. It also means their friends, sports teammates, unexpected school projects, and much more, so you need a vehicle with plenty of room inside. Let’s take a look at eight of our favorite SUVs to look for when shopping for a used vehicle that’s perfect for your growing family. more The Buick Enclave: An Elegant Three-Row SUV We can’t think of a better place to start when looking at family-friendly SUVs than with the Buick Enclave. This is a three-row SUV, which means it is pretty close in size to midsize models and not quite as large as many full-size options. If you need seating for seven people but still want to fit it into the rest of your life, this is a great option to consider. Buick is well known for sophisticated features and options that can elevate your time on the road, including comfortable seating, innovative technology, and much more. That makes this a great choice if you need a family vehicle but still want something you’ll love driving every day. The Chevy Traverse: An Accessible Option for Growing Families The Traverse is a three-row SUV quite similar to the Buick Enclave, but with some notable differences. Perhaps most importantly, this is the most affordable model on our list. We know many families need to stick to a tight budget, especially when more kids are on the way, which makes this a huge benefit for many folks. The Traverse is a fantastic option if you need a used SUV that offers room for your family while keeping your costs down. Plus, Chevy offers a variety of trims and options for the Traverse, so you can still find sophisticated features and impressive technology. The Chevy Tahoe: A Large and Powerful SUV So far, we’ve looked at three-row SUVs, but those aren’t your only options for a growing family that needs something spacious. The Chevy Tahoe is a full-size SUV, which means it is bigger than most other vehicles you’ll find out there. In fact, the Tahoe is generally one of the largest vehicles on the road, giving you plenty of room inside for the people you need to bring along with you each day. Chevy offers powerful engines for the Tahoe each year, including diesel powertrains on select models, so you can find one that feels great on the road in all kinds of conditions. If you need something more spacious, then check out the Chevy Suburban, a full-size SUV that is even longer and more accommodating. The GMC Yukon: Sophisticated Details and Refinement If you like the overall size and performance options of the Chevy Tahoe, but you want something more refined, take a look at the GMC Yukon. It shares a lot with the Tahoe, offering similar performance and overall size, along with plenty of room inside for your growing family. GMC models tend to focus more on sophistication and advanced features, so you can find a number of upgrades with the Yukon compared to the Tahoe models. Whether you are looking for incredibly comfortable seating, advanced technology, or a more luxurious ride quality, the GMC Yukon is a fantastic full-size SUV to check out. The Cadillac Escalade: Incredible Luxury and Innovation Speaking of luxurious full-size SUVs, we have to mention the Cadillac Escalade. Although this isn’t ideal if you have a tight budget, it’s the king of luxury in this segment and one of our favorite vehicles around. You can find incredibly powerful engines and truly remarkable engineering on Escalade models, which means they feel amazing on the road. Inside, the Escalade is the pinnacle of luxury and comfort, with options that include absolutely decadent seating, incredible technology, including massive displays and mind-blowing sound systems, and much more. We know a used Escalade isn’t the right choice for every family, but it’s worth considering if you want to treat your loved ones to something truly special. The Ford Expedition: Robust, Full-Size Power and Great Features We’ve looked at a lot of GM models so far, but those aren’t the only great options you should consider when shopping for an SUV to meet the needs of your growing family. The Ford Expedition is a fantastic choice for many drivers, offering a great ride and terrific features inside and out. This is a full-size model, similar to the Tahoe and Yukon, with plenty of room inside for seven or eight people to stretch out. You can find powerful engines on used Expedition models along with incredible towing capabilities. This is a fantastic choice if you want to haul a boat or camper behind your SUV to take your family for a weekend of fun in the great outdoors. With a variety of great features available each year, a used Expedition can be the perfect choice for many families. The Jeep Grand Cherokee L: A Rugged and Capable Daily Driver A lot of people naturally think of Jeeps as being more outdoor-oriented and primarily meant for heading off-road, but that’s not all they’re good for. The Grand Cherokee is a popular option for many drivers, while the Grand Cherokee L adds a third row of seating, ideal for growing families. You can find used Grand Cherokee L models with impressive power and performance, a comfortable interior, and great options throughout. Other Jeep models, like the Wrangler, might be a better choice for smaller families, especially those interested in hitting the trail, but the Grand Cherokee L is a fantastic daily driver with plenty of room for family and cargo. The Lincoln Navigator: One More Sophisticated SUV Finally, there are other options available if you’re looking for a refined driving experience beyond the Escalade. The Lincoln Navigator is an impressive full-size SUV with a variety of sophisticated luxury details inside and out, along with bold performance that makes it incredibly rewarding to drive. Wonderfully comfortable seating, innovative technology, and advanced safety features come together to make the Navigator a terrific choice for growing families. If you need something even more spacious inside, check out the Navigator L for increased cabin space and plenty of great features. Get a Used SUV With Everything You Need No matter what you’re looking for in an SUV to meet the needs of your growing family, we’re ready to help you find it. At LaFontaine Buick GMC Lansing, we work hard to provide you with a fantastic selection of pre-owned vehicles to consider, which often includes all of the models we’ve looked at here. Whether you already need something with three rows of seating or you are looking to the years ahead, our team can help you find something you will love driving every day. Let's Take a Look Under the Hood The 2026 GMC Terrain's sole engine option is a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that delivers excellent performance, boasting a solid 175 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque in front-wheel drive; models with all-wheel drive are tuned to produce 203 lb-ft of torque. For a compact SUV, these are excellent stats, making for exhilarating drives on and off the pavement. The Elevation trim comes standard with front-wheel drive and a continuously variable transmission (CVT), while the AT4 and Denali trims are equipped exclusively with an all-wheel drivetrain and an eight-speed automatic transmission. (The Elevation has all-wheel drive available, though.) In front-wheel drive, the 2026 Terrain gets up to 26 MPG in the city and 28 MPG on the highway. In all-wheel drive, city figures are slightly lower, in favor of better traction, at 24 MPG, while the highway figure remains the same. Great Capabilities for a Compact SUV 2026 GMC Terrains with front-wheel drive have a maximum towing capacity of 800 lbs, while models with all-wheel drive have a maximum towing capacity of 1,500 lbs. The AT4 and Denali trims also come standard with a factory-installed hitch and Hitch Guidance with Hitch View, making towing more accessible. You can utilize this towing capacity to pull a small trailer, boat, or camper. But the 2026 Terrain has more than just towing capabilities. If you want to go kayaking or biking, for example, there's the ability to stow your gear on top, thanks to roof rails that are available on the Elevation and standard on the AT4 and Denali; cross rails are available on all trims. You could also pack luggage or camping gear in the rear. Every 2026 Terrain has 29.8 cu.ft. of cargo space in the rear, behind the second row, though these seats can be folded down to expand your cargo space to a full 63.5 cu.ft. A Wealth of Smart Safety Technology Standard safety features for this year's iteration include forward collision alerts with emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, a lane-keeping aid with lane departure warnings, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alerts, and a safety alert seat. While some of these features come standard on many 2026 vehicles, the GMC Terrain gets praise for having all of them. The AT4 and Denali trims also add features like Hill Descent Control, which increases handling on down slopes. The Denali comes standard with HD Surround View, for a 360-degree panorama of the area around your vehicle. Meanwhile, every trim comes with an eight-year subscription to OnStar Basics, granting remote commands, built-in voice assistance, real-time traffic and navigation guidance, and Automatic Crash Response. Every trim also boasts GM's legendary Teen Driver tool, designed to help keep young drivers safe and teach them good habits. Generously Improved Interior Amenities The 2026 Terrain's interior also shines, boasting premium comfort amenities such as standard Active Noise Cancellation technology and ventilated front seats, which are standard on the Denali trim and available on the other two trims. Each trim has its own elegant upholstery. The Elevation has premium cloth, whereas the AT4 boasts durable cloth and CoreTec, designed for outdoor exposure. The Denali trim offers the best of the best, with perforated leather that exudes elegance and class. Technology is also incorporated in a big way, with a 15-inch infotainment touchscreen, standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and available Google built-in. Every trim has Wi-Fi hotspot capabilities and a SiriusXM trial, and there's a wireless charging pad for compatible smartphones standard on the higher trims and available on the Elevation. There's also a panoramic sunroof available on all trims; this fixed glass ceiling spans both rows and boasts a power sunshade, allowing you to welcome or deter direct sunlight at the touch of a button. Pick Your Trim, Enjoy Your Terrain No matter which trim you choose—Elevation, AT4, or Denali—you're getting an incredible experience with a 2026 GMC Terrain, thanks to standard features like heated front seats, Teen Driver, Active Noise Cancellation, and a 15-inch touchscreen with wireless smartphone connectivity. The trim-wide availability of features like ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, and roof rack cross rails is a further pleasure unique to the GMC badge. Lush upholstery, outstanding safety features, generous cabin technology, high fuel economy figures, competent towing capabilities, and ample cargo space make this SUV a smart investment compared to its peers in the compact class. Beyond the Basics: How the GMC Sierra 1500 Pushes Past Its Chevy Rival

The GMC Sierra 1500 for sale stands out as a premium choice among buyers looking for a full-size truck that offers the perfect blend of power, luxury, versatility, and advanced technologies. Yet, making a wise investment for your future behind the wheel requires comparing the 2025 Sierra 1500 with its Chevy sibling. more The 2025 Sierra 1500 and Silverado 1500 are built by General Motors, sharing a common platform and many mechanical components. However, even with these similarities, GMC distinguishes the 2025 Sierra 1500 by pushing the boundaries of luxury and ingenuity. This approach makes the Sierra 1500 a far more compelling option for buyers who want a truck that goes beyond the basics. Here's a closer look at how GMC accomplishes this feat, making the 2025 Sierra 1500 far more appealing than its Chevy rival. #1 - Design: A Premium Aesthetic The 2025 Sierra 1500 and 2025 Silverado 1500 share the same platform, dimensions, and multi-engine lineups. This framework lends to exclusive design details that give the Sierra 1500 a more sophisticated and refined aesthetic. Bold Sophistication vs Rugged Utility The 2025 Silverado 1500 prioritizes function over flair, leaving the latter to the Sierra 1500. Chevrolet's full-size truck boasts a more traditional look, featuring a rugged, no-nonsense design complemented by its bold front grille and various wheel options. It's a stylish combination, but it doesn't exude luxury. Fortunately, that's where the 2025 Sierra 1500 shines. The 2025 Sierra 1500 embodies sophistication, with distinct grilles, design elements, and wheels giving each trim a unique aesthetic. The Vader Chrome finish sets the Sierra 1500 Denali Ultimate apart from the Denali, which features a signature chrome grille. The AT4X is destined for life beyond the pavement and looks the part with its redesigned front fascia and grille with gloss black upper and dark nickel inserts. Refined Yet Functional These details give the 2025 Sierra 1500 a commanding presence, but GMC doesn't stop there by limiting the truck to its looks. Instead, GMC encourages drivers to use the Sierra 1500 as it's intended with premium features like the CarbonPro composite bed. The carbon-fiber-reinforced bed is lighter and more durable than traditional beds, giving the Sierra 1500 an advantage that ensures the truck can handle heavy loads without compromising its aesthetic appeal. #2 - Interior: Luxury Reimagined As full-size trucks, the 2025 Sierra 1500 and 2025 Silverado 1500 are spacious and well-equipped. The automakers offer the trucks in multiple cab configurations and bed lengths, making finding the perfect truck for your needs easy. However, GMC goes above and beyond with the Sierra 1500 by focusing on luxury and your comfort behind the wheel. Premium Materials The 2025 Silverado 1500 High Country is the most luxurious in the truck's trim family and showcases how Chevrolet approaches luxury. The top-tier trim features premium leather seating with exclusive stitching and perforation. The cabin has open-pore wood trim, with heated and ventilated front seats offering all-season comfort. Luxury looks vastly different in the 2025 Sierra 1500, whether you're in the AT4, AT4X, Denali, or Denali Ultimate. GMC equips the 2025 Sierra 1500 AT4 with perforated front leather seating, adding red double-needle stitching and ceramic white accents on the more rugged AT4X. The Sierra 1500 Denali features real wood trim, while the Denali Ultimate sets new standards of luxury with its exquisite cabin. The top-tier Sierra 1500 Denali Ultimate is undeniably fit for royalty. Its Alpine Umber interior is exclusive to the trim, with the cabin featuring full grain leather seats with plaited contrast stitching. GMC also adds 16-way powered front seats that are heated and ventilated with a built-in massage feature, none of which you'll find on its Chevy sibling. #3 - Capability: Beyond the Pavement Off-road enthusiasts have several enticing options, with Chevrolet renowned for trims like the Silverado 1500 ZR2 and GMC for the Sierra 1500 AT4. As sibling brands under the General Motors umbrella, it's no surprise that the rugged trims share similarities, including an AEV Edition package that showcases GM's partnership with American Expedition Vehicles. So, how does the 2025 Sierra 1500 and its off-road trims go above and beyond? The Baseline: 2025 Silverado 1500 ZR2 and Bison Edition The 2025 Silverado 1500 ZR2 sets the baseline for the better-equipped ZR2 Bison Edition. The trim rolls off Chevrolet's production line with a two-inch factory-installed lift, Multimatic DSSV dampers, large underbody skid plates, a black chrome grille, and 33-inch Wrangler Territory Mud Terrain tires. Upgrading to the ZR2 Bison Edition adds AEV-exclusive components, like AEV Bison front and rear differentials, an AEV transfer case, AEV-branded fuel tank skid plates, and AEV front and rear bumpers. As the most capable in the Silverado family, the ZR2 Bison Edition distinguishes itself with its body-color grille bar, black vertical front tow hooks, and gloss-black 18-inch AEV-exclusive wheels. The Benchmark: 2025 Sierra 1500 AT4, AT4X, and AEV Edition While the 2025 Silverado 1500 ZR2 sets the baseline, the 2025 Sierra 1500 AT4, AT4X, and AEV Edition set the benchmark for excellence and capability. The Sierra's rugged trims gain an obvious advantage because of GMC's penchant for luxury, with the trims boasting upscale cabins with innovative technologies that Chevrolet can't match with the Silverado 1500. Luckily for GMC fans, the advantages don't end there. The 2025 Sierra 1500 AT4 has a two-inch factory lift, an off-road suspension, and Rancho monotube shocks. Climbing the lineup to the 2025 Sierra 1500 AT4X ups the ante. The AT4X is the only truck in its class to roll off the factory floor with this combination:front and rear electronic locking differentials, Multimatic DSSV dampers, AEV skid plates, and an AEV stamped steel front bumper. Opting for the AEV Edition on the AT4X takes the truck's capability even further, especially with the Sierra 1500's luxurious interior and cutting-edge technologies. The package incorporates AEV-exclusive elements, such as an AEV-stamped rear bumper, AEV's hot-stamped boron steel skid plates, and unique exterior and interior badging. The rugged road warrior is also instantly recognizable by its AEV racing-inspired Salta wheels, which feature recessed valve stems and a 12-spoke design. You'll also notice that off-road rocker panels add protection and enhance the truck's commanding presence. The 2025 Sierra 1500: Leading in Luxury and Performance While GMC and Chevrolet are sibling brands, the automakers have two distinct approaches to building trucks. Chevrolet errs on practicality and utility, with the 2025 Silverado 1500 leaving no question about its work ethic. However, its utilitarian design means fewer comforts and premium details, an approach that keeps the Silverado 1500 affordably priced. GMC's approach is driver-focused, with the 2025 Sierra 1500 offering a premium experience in every way imaginable. The Sierra 1500 has a more sophisticated design, with exclusive grille details and wheel designs that give each trim unique styling. Inside, opulence prevails, with the Sierra 1500 ensuring drivers are comfortable, engaged, and confident behind the wheel. The Sierra 1500's penchant for luxury is undeniable. GMC treats drivers to the unimaginable, from full grain leather seating and Super Cruise to heated and ventilated seats with a built-in massager. So, is the price of luxury worth it in the 2025 Sierra 1500? The Sierra's sophisticated styling and premium features may mean spending more on the truck, but its impact on your experience is worth the investment. With the Sierra 1500, GMC proves its full-size truck can deliver the best of both worlds––an incredible work ethic that meets every demand and the creature comforts you deserve as you navigate life on the road.

Our Top Highlights of the 2025 GMC Terrain Refresh

For 2025, GMC has gone all-in with a redesign for their very popular Terrain, a small SUV model that offers drivers the perfect balance between comfort and performance. With off-road capability and available all-wheel drive, a GMC Terrain for sale is a versatile choice for you and your family. Seating five adults comfortably, you can share in the weekly work carpool or get the kids and their friends to the soccer game on time with plenty of room for gear in the large rear cargo space. more Tech-savvy features and connectivity for every passenger are a highlight of this GMC offering. Seamless connectivity to the infotainment stack from your smartphone makes knowing where you're going and staying on the grid more convenient than ever. GMC has built an SUV that is roomy yet still navigates busy city streets with ease for a relaxing driving experience. Let's dig deeper into what makes the Terrain the perfect new vehicle for you and your family. The GMC Terrain Powertrain is Turbocharged and Efficient Although this small SUV isn't built to scream down a quarter-mile drag track, the standard powertrain packed under the hood will make your everyday driving reliable and shift smoothly as you go about a full day of activities. The 2025 Terrain comes with a turbocharged 1.5L 4-cylinder gas engine that produces a reasonable amount of power and torque to handle inclement weather like snow and slick dirt roads after a fresh rain, but not so much power that it takes away from the fuel efficiency for commuting to work and taking the kids to school. Coming standard in front-wheel drive with a CVT transmission, the Terrain is also available in all-wheel drive, and that drivetrain is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. For drivers who love the numbers, the Terrain produces 175 hp. Torque depends on which drivetrain you opt for, with front-wheel drive producing 184 lb-ft and the all-wheel drive option producing 203 lb-ft. Fuel efficiency barely changes between the two drivetrain options. The standard front-wheel drive model gets an EPA-estimated 27 MPG combined, and the all-wheel drive comes in at 25 MPG combined. Refreshed Design for 2025 Freshly redesigned for 2025, the Terrain has been updated to appeal to modern drivers who desire a more athletic look and to include the hottest technology. The Terrain's new look is sharp––GMC now offers a two-tone roof option, and the front fascia's redesign emphasizes the widely popular boxy look from GMC's truck lineup that adds confidence to its stance. Chrome accents across the bold grille add an eye-catching pop to any color you choose. Accenting the exterior design in black adds even more to the bold new look. The LED projector is housed in a C-shape cluster that draws the eye away from the valence and gives the Terrain a more truck-like appearance. The side view mirrors cap off the redesign with a black gloss finish. With 8.1 inches of ground clearance, the car sits up on Grazen metallic machined-face wheels that are 17" in diameter, rounding out the look. Bringing up the rear, LED taillights are designed with a creative shape that mirrors the headlights; these nearly stretch across the entire rear liftgate beneath a spoiler and a rear windshield wiper. A dark-colored rear bumper minimizes marking visibility from loading large items and the family dog jumping in. Moving to the interior, comfortable front seating can be made of durable cloth or CoreTec leatherette covering. Opting for CoreTec will include power adjustment and heated seats. A heated steering wheel is standard to round out the comfort experience. The floating center console is designed to maximize storage with a large pass-through storage shelf, along with a cubby beneath the infotainment center and a large console with a padded armrest top. Cup holders will fit large drinking bottles, and a wireless charging slot is available for your smartphone. Faux brushed aluminum accents are throughout the dash and door panels to elevate the design. When selected, a panoramic sunroof can bring the outdoor light inside. The GMC Terrain has Advanced Tech Features The refresh of the Terrain's design has given the tech-savvy features more prominence by upgrading the infotainment center to a large 15" screen. Set low in the center stack, the screen is within easier reach from the driver's seat without impeding your vision out of the windshield to the road ahead. With Google built-in, you can seamlessly enjoy your favorite app for navigation, music listening, and even messaging. Using the voice command feature can allow instant access to learning the fastest route through a traffic jam without having to look away to push a button. Behind the telescoping steering wheel is an 11" digital gauge cluster that can be customized to display the information you want most at a glance. USB charging ports are conveniently placed in the center console for front passengers. Other tech-savvy feature enhancements include eight available camera views and a Rear Camera Mirror. The safety and driver assist features include adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, and forward collision detection with automatic emergency braking, plus many more. Sensible features like a heated wiper park, cabin humidity sensor for climate control, an AutoSense power hands-free rear liftgate, and heated side view mirrors add convenience for a busy family on the go. If You Need Versatility, the Terrain is the Perfect SUV The Terrain has high ground clearance for dirt road driving if you're on the hunt for your next SUV to be able to handle a variety of conditions and tasks. Adding roof rails can allow for a selection of racks to carry bicycles, skis, and even kayaks in a much easier and more convenient configuration. For families that need to pull a light camper, fishing boat, or small trailer, the Terrain is rated to tow up to 1500 pounds to make your weekend out on the lake exciting. The rear cargo space is large, but up to 63.3 cu.ft. of cargo space can be made by folding the 60/40 rear seat down nearly flat and sliding larger items in. Beneath the floor of the rear cargo space is where you'll find the spare tire. Check Out the GMC Terrain Today For an affordable and efficient compact SUV that looks good and is comfortable and roomy, the Terrain is an excellent choice for drivers who need more than what a commuter sedan can offer while still maintaining a less cumbersome size for everyday driving on busy city streets. With higher ground clearance and a mild towing capability, you'll own a versatile vehicle that can add excitement to your weekends and handle extra tasks. The refreshed design delivers a bolder look that stands out and gives drivers the tech-savvy features they want to have most while behind the wheel. With room for five adults, seating is spacious for a long road trip with friends and family. The revamped boxy exterior is eye-catching and will allow you to drive in style for years to come. With GMC's high-quality craftsmanship within every inch of this vehicle, the 2025 Terrain is a top pick for lasting reliability and peace of mind for the long miles ahead. With the 2025 model year in full swing, many consumers are in the market for a new means of transportation that provides both style and substance. The SUV is the most popular class among prospective vehicle buyers, and the current GMC lineup of SUVs is among the most sought-after. Among the different models that GMC has available, the midsize 2025 Acadia provides the ultimate trifecta of what many SUV owners look for: comfort, capability, and style. As the spruced sibling of the three-row Chevy Traverse, buying the latest GMC Acadia for sale can provide you with many advantages. Join us today as we go over the attributes we enjoy the most about GMC's three-row midsize SUV and offer some insight as to why you should consider one for your next vehicle purchase. more Economical and Energetic Performance When it comes to producing vehicles that merge style and substance, GMC cannot be beaten. This brand's reputation for combining versatility and prowess with sophistication and refinement is well-established. Thus, the 2025 Acadia is equipped with a powertrain that combines muscle and efficiency. All versions of the Acadia come with a 2.5L turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 328 hp and 326 lb-ft of torque. That engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, which compliments its output considerably. Those who partake in recreational activities will also be pleased to know that the Acadia has a towing capacity of 5,000 lbs. Despite being a three-row SUV, the Acadia can get remarkable fuel economy figures, with an EPA-estimated 20 MPG in the city and 27 MPG on the highway in front-wheel drive, for 23 MPG combined. This is the standard drivetrain, but drivers can have all-wheel drive instead. For many years, having three rows of seating meant also having to endure an engine that wasn't exactly fuel-efficient. Ever the resourceful brand, GMC provides a powertrain that gets exceptional performance and extends travels between trips to the pump. The Off-Road-Ready AT4 Trim The SUV class is synonymous with family-oriented transportation, and GMC has always provided a substantial amount of sophistication to its designs while staying family-focused. Still, some people have just as much a penchant for adventure as they do the finer things in life—hence why GMC provides an AT4 trim for the 2025 Acadia. Sitting on a pair of 18-inch wheels and all-terrain tires, the Acadia AT4 brings style to the tumultuous world of off-roading. This trim has a 7.7-inch ground clearance and underbody skid plates to assist you in overcoming obstructions in your path and protecting the undercarriage from rocks and debris. A lifted ride height and a suspension tailored to the road less traveled bolster this trim's off-roading capabilities. Furthermore, there's plenty of tech in this trim, as the AT4 can be equipped with Super Cruise, GM's semi-autonomous hands-free driving tool. When the worlds of high-end sophistication and off-road prowess merge, the possibilities for adventure are endless. The GMC Acadia's AT4 trim embodies the sophistication of the brand while also allowing you to go where only the bold dare to venture. Capable Technology at Your Fingertips The sophisticated powertrain and off-roading capabilities of the Acadia aside, GMC has also ensured that its drivers stay connected with a host of intuitive technologies right at their fingertips. A 15-inch infotainment interface is standard on all trims of the GMC Acadia; this intuitive touchscreen provides a multitude of features, such as voice recognition and wireless compatibility with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A wireless smartphone charging pad and a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot are also standard, ensuring you always stay connected when on the road. The new screen offered by GMC also comes with Google Built-In, affording drivers access to all of the apps from the world's most powerful search engine. Audio quality is ensured across all trims by way of a standard 12-speaker stereo system from Bose that also includes a subwoofer. A higher-end system with 16 speakers is available on the Denali trim, which is perfect for the discerning audiophile. A Lavish Interior Fit for a King The technology that makes for an immersive experience behind the wheel is accentuated by this model's refined interior, which contains all of the sophistication and luxury that GMC is known for. The base Elevation trim has seating for eight passengers, but second-row captain's chairs are available through the Elevation Premium Package. The AT4 and Denali trims both come standard with that seven-seat arrangement, ensuring maximum comfort for all passengers. The quality of the upholstery varies per trim, with the Denali receiving leather, as well as heating and ventilation. All trims have multiple amenities that ensure a high level of comfort for everyone, such as tri-zone climate control that accommodates the tastes of everyone on board, depending on where they're sitting. The Acadia also provides the practical and pragmatic items that many look for in an SUV, especially when it pertains to available storage space. With all three rows of seats occupied, the Acadia can facilitate 23 cu.ft. of cargo room. A total of 57.3 cu.ft. becomes available when the third row is folded down, and for situations that require much more cargo space, 97.5 cu.ft. can be accessed when both rear rows are folded down. Enhanced Trailering Technology Thanks to its 5,000-lb towing capacity, the Acadia is capable of transporting things like campers, boats, and trailers to carry out your favorite activities. GMC's knack for innovation extends to towing, and multiple features can make for a more immersive and capable experience. All trims of the 2025 Acadia come standard with the Trailering Package, whose outfit includes a factory-installed hitch that facilitates the maximum towing capacity, a cooling system to reduce stress on the engine, as well as integrated technologies such as hitch guidance and hitch view, making hooking up a more simplified process. Super Cruise Available on All Trims One of the biggest and best breakthroughs from GM in recent years is the introduction of Super Cruise. This is a hands-free, semi-autonomous driving tool that operates with radar and camera technology. With hundreds of thousands of compatible roads all over North America, interstate travel is easier and less stressful. Drivers with specific interests will tell you that the right powertrain is necessary to unlock any truck’s potential, and the Sierra 1500's lineup is no different. 2.7L TurboMax I-4 The standard engine for most versions of the GMC Sierra, the turbocharged four-cylinder ending pairs with an eight-speed automatic transmission and produces 310 hp and 430 lb-ft of torque. Ideal for daily commuting and light towing applications, the TurboMax can pull 9,400 lbs and offers an exceptional payload capacity of 2,240. 5.3L EcoTec3 V8 The first of two available V8 powertrains for the GMC Sierra 1500, the 5.3L V8 can be paired with either RWD or 4WD and produces 355 hp and 383 lb-ft of torque. With the exception of the TurboMax, all of the Sierra’s engines pair with a ten-speed automatic transmission for optimum performance. The 5.3L can pull 11,200 lbs, making it suitable for workplace applications and recreational use. 6.2L EcoTec3 V8 Exclusively available to 4WD versions of the Sierra 1500, the 6.2L produces 420 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque and increases the towing capacity to 13,000 lbs. It also provides the highest number of ponies, making it a good choice for performance-oriented drivers. 3.0L Duramax Turbo-Diesel I-6 Regarding the versatility and viability of diesel as an excellent fuel source, GM has led the way in revitalizing the diesel engine. The six-cylinder Duramax produces the lowest amount of hp out of all four engines with 305 but makes up for this with the capacity to produce 495 lb-ft of torque. The Duramax also allows for the highest tow rating of the Sierra 1500 with 13,200 lbs. With four available powertrains to suit your needs, no matter what, Lansing residents can take full advantage of the versatility and capability of the 2025 GMC Sierra 1500. An Array of Modern Technology Modern truck drivers expect more from their vehicle of choice. The In-Vehicle Trailering App is available in select trims and is a must-have for anyone planning to tow the GMC Sierra 1500. The app is essential for providing oversight regarding any trailer you might be pulling and provides a wealth of information, such as mileage and security alerts. It can also perform diagnostics to ensure that everything is working in proper order. There are also maintenance reminders so you can always know when routine repairs and services are required. While offering substantial performance, the GMC Sierra 1500 also gives drivers access to a wealth of technology and the necessary apps that are used daily. No other brand virtually matches this perfect balance of performance and technology. For Off-Road Adventure, Consider the AT4 Many in Lansing and elsewhere have utilized the GMC Sierra 1500 as a capable and confident off-roading machine. The Sierra’s AT4 trim is designed for the bold and daring adventurer who doesn’t require roads and pavement for an exhilarating experience. The AT4 comes standard with the highly capable Duramax engine but can also be upgraded to the 6.2L V8. Naturally, the AT4 is 4WD-exclusive and allows for many adventures to be undertaken. The AT4 trim sits on 20-inch all-terrain blackwall tires and has multiple skid plates to ensure underbody protection from dirt, gravel, and other items. Its suspension and shocks are meant to withstand the rigors of off-roading. An advanced feature is a Two-Speed Autotrac Transfer Case; this allows drivers to shift between the pavement and the dirt with relative ease, and Lansing area residents who split their time between city driving and adventures will find this feature extraordinary. If you consider yourself an adventurer who goes where others might steer clear, the AT4 trim is the ideal means of embarking on your next quest. Get to Know the 2025 Buick Encore GX

Here at LaFontaine Buick GMC Lansing, we pride ourselves on helping our customers find the perfect vehicle; this comes down to understanding what you need and knowing what will deliver that kind of experience. As your Buick dealer in Lansing, we understand the struggles you face on the road every day, and we love helping our customers find a car, truck, or SUV designed to help them overcome. more The 2025 Buick Encore GX is the perfect example of this: a subcompact SUV with a surprisingly spacious interior, great performance on the road, and remarkable features inside and out to ensure you look forward to driving each day. Let's check out the 2025 Encore GX, and you'll see why this is the perfect daily driver for getting around Lansing. Excellent Performance We'll admit that high performance probably isn't at the top of your list in a subcompact SUV, but that doesn't mean you should overlook it. No matter what kind of vehicle you have, you deserve to drive something that makes the most of your time on the road. The 2025 Encore GX has a standard 1.2L turbo engine that provides 137 hp and 162 lb-ft of torque, which comes paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) for a smooth driving experience. If you're looking for something with a bit more oomph under the hood, then there's an available 1.3L turbo engine that delivers 155 hp and 174 lb-ft of torque. Although both engines are great, we prefer the available turbo for the boosted performance it delivers, which makes zipping along surface streets or hitting the highway a lot of fun. Front-wheel drive (FWD) is standard on the Encore GX, but Buick also offers the 1.3L engine with all-wheel drive (AWD). This enhanced performance plus added traction and control from AWD is perfect for driving around Lansing and dealing with rough winter weather; models with AWD come with a nine-speed automatic transmission rather than the CVT. We know plenty of people who do just fine in a car with FWD, but the difference that AWD can make when confronted with snow and ice should not be overlooked. A Gorgeous Exterior How a vehicle drives is our top priority when looking at any car, but we won't deny that we also want something that looks great in our driveways. Fortunately, the 2025 Encore GX comes through beautifully in this regard, in no small part thanks to a facelift Buick gave it last year. Buick keeps things pretty simple with the Encore GX, focusing on classic lines that look compelling rather than trying to innovate merely to look different. You get a uniquely designed grille, signature LED headlamps, and more impressive styling touches that make an immediate statement and refuse to be ignored. A variety of gorgeous colors are available, including Summit White, Ebony Twilight Metallic, and the new Aquamarine Blue Metallic. Add in the available power liftgate and a panoramic moonroof, and you have a stunning SUV that you'll love driving around Lansing each day. Plenty of Room Inside Although this is a subcompact SUV, you shouldn't let that fool you into thinking the Buick Encore GX feels small or cramped in any way. Measuring about 171 inches in length and about 71 inches in width, the Encore GX can comfortably fit into pretty much any garage, and it makes it easy to find parking spots when driving. You still get nearly 40 inches of headroom and legroom up front, however, plus more than 38 inches of rear-seat headroom and 36 inches of legroom in the back, plus seating for up to five passengers to be quite comfortable. There's more than 23 cu.ft. of rear cargo volume in the Encore GX and more than 50 cu.ft. of total cargo space behind the front seats, giving you plenty of room to bring everything you need with you. Innovative Interior Features We're suckers for cool tech and great comfort features in our vehicles; it's one of the reasons we love the modern Buick lineup, since it adds so much to your time on the road. Looking at the standard features for the 2025 Encore GX, you get an 11-inch touchscreen up front with support for wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus a seven-speaker sound system and an eight-inch Driver Information Center screen. Cloth seating with leatherette trim is standard, along with a wrapped steering wheel, keyless open and start, remote start, cruise control, and much more. If you go up to the Avenir trim, then you get to enjoy a number of upgrades and even more available options. The Encore GX Avenir features an eight-way power driver's seat and six-way power front-passenger seat; also, both are heated—perfect for wintertime. You'll find perforated leather-appointed seating in the Avenir, a heated steering wheel, and dual-zone automatic climate control to keep everyone in your SUV comfortable all year round. When you add options like a rear camera mirror, wireless charging pad, and adaptive cruise control, then you have an SUV that's remarkably fun to drive. Stay Safe When Driving There's a lot we love about the 2025 Buick Encore GX, of course, but nothing else would really matter if it weren't also incredibly safe for your family. Fortunately, every model comes with the Buick Driver Confidence suite of driver assistance features, giving you six safety technologies to help protect you and your loved ones. This includes a Forward Collision Alert to warn you about a potential crash, along with Automatic Emergency Braking to help you avoid it. You also get Front Pedestrian Braking to assist with stopping power if someone suddenly steps out in front of your vehicle, plus a Following Distance Indicator to let you know when you're too close to a car ahead of you. Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning is included, letting you know if you seem to be wandering from your lane, and you get IntelliBeam Auto High Beams that can switch off automatically to avoid blinding oncoming drivers. LED daytime running lamps are standard to help with visibility at all times of day, and you get a Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert plus a Rear Cross-Traffic Alert in every model. If you want to take things further, then more options are available, like HD Surround Vision, which gives you a virtual look around your vehicle to help you see things that might be hidden from view. Find the Perfect SUV With Everything You Need Honestly, we could keep praising the things we like so much about the Encore GX, but we think you've gotten a pretty good idea of what it has to offer at this point. Just remember that we didn't mention everything (like the available Bose premium sound system or the fact it can handle 1,000 lbs of towing when properly equipped) and instead tried to hit on the major highlights. But just from what we've looked at today, you can tell why so many people have chosen the Encore GX when shopping for a small SUV and how it has quickly won over many drivers. Take a ride in one or get behind the wheel to feel how much joy it can bring to your daily drive; you'll see how fun and rewarding this subcompact SUV can be.

How the GMC Hummer EV Differs from Other Electric Trucks and SUVs

It’s common knowledge that not all vehicles are created the same way, even ones that are built off the same platform. Each brand tends to put its own unique spin on its designs, and the GMC Hummer EV takes that uniqueness to the next level. The fact is that the electric revolution has introduced a new era of transportation, particularly for trucks and SUVs. Still, there are only a handful of EVs that truly stand on their own, and the GMC Hummer EV is one of those. more When GMC set out to design the Hummer EV, it was taking a risk, as the iconic nameplate has a certain vibe that drivers are used to. However, with innovative features such as CrabWalk and Watts to Freedom, the new Hummer EV seems to have more than met the mark, resulting in an EV that not only turns heads but also stands out in a congested marketplace. You can find the GMC Hummer EV for sale here at LaFontaine Buick GMC Lansing, along with a knowledgeable team who can explore all the unique features that make the truck a strong contender when shopping for your next vehicle. Exploring the GMC Hummer EV The Humvee (officially designated the HMMWV for "High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle") was first introduced in 1983 as a way for the military to tackle rugged terrain and first saw action in 1989 during Operation Just Cause. A few years later, in 1992, AM General released a civilian version called the Hummer. It wasn’t until 1999 that General Motors purchased the rights to manufacture the vehicle, releasing three versions of the Hummer. Unfortunately, the model's lower fuel efficiency became too much for the brand, and the nameplate was discontinued in 2010. Fast forward ten years, several designs, a lot of trial and error, and a leap of faith, and you get the latest version of the GMC Hummer, the Hummer EV. This model is available as either a pickup truck or an SUV and has many unique features that make the Hummer EV stand out from the rest. CrabWalk One of the most talked-about characteristics of the GMC Hummer EV is its CrabWalk mode, which is unheard of in the automobile industry. This unique technique, which uses 4-Wheel Steering, allows the vehicle to travel diagonally. By allowing the rear wheels to turn in the same direction as the front wheels, the Hummer EV can move its entire body diagonally to get out of tight spaces or past obstacles in challenging off-road settings. The mode can be used at speeds up to 20 mph, offering unheard-of flexibility. The mode is simple to use by slowing the vehicle down to crawl or bringing it to a complete stop, centering the steering wheel, and holding the 4-Wheel Steering button. Both the Hummer EV2X and the Hummer EV3X come equipped with CrabWalk mode. While other electric vehicles may go toe-to-toe with the Hummer EV when it comes to off-road capabilities, none match the Hummer EV's CrabWalk. This makes it a game changer for drivers who want to test their vehicle's boundaries off the beaten path. Watts to Freedom The Watts to Freedom mode is another distinguishing characteristic of the Hummer EV, stressing that this is no ordinary electric truck. This launch mode converts the Hummer EV into a high-performance vehicle, allowing it to accelerate from zero to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds when equipped with the available 1000-hp three-motor configuration. That's comparable to certain high-performance sports cars and is certainly not something you’ll find in many other full-size trucks—and while you might think this is cool but not really that big of a deal, it’s important to note that there’s more to this feature than just getting to 60 mph quickly. Watts to Freedom not only optimizes the truck's battery output for maximum power but also enhances the ride. When engaged, the truck lowers itself two inches—thanks to its air suspension—then adds audio, haptic feedback in the driver’s seat, and visual elements in the driver display, including a g-force meter on the 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster. In other words, the Watts to Freedom feature is a full-circle experience that will take your breath away. Ultium Battery Technology GMC's Ultium battery platform powers the Hummer EV, offering two battery sizes. The largest battery is the 24-module battery in the pickup variant. This option gives you an estimated 312 miles on a full charge. The standard 20-module battery in the other Hummer EV options offers an EPA-estimated range of up to 318 miles because it comes with more efficient tires. Additionally, the Hummer EV has fast-charging capabilities, allowing it to add approximately 100 miles of range in 11 minutes using a 350 kW DC fast charger. The Hummer EV's battery technology also offers bidirectional charging, which means it may power other electronics or even homes in an emergency. Super Cruise As more and more manufacturers add their own versions of hands-free driving to their lineups, Super Cruise might not necessarily be all that unique anymore, but it’s still worth mentioning. GMC's hands-free system allows you to activate the feature on more than 750,000 miles of mapped highways in the United States and Canada. It also employs driver attention monitoring, which uses a camera to ensure drivers still pay attention to the road ahead even when they don't have their hands on the wheel. This means they can take over at any time if needed. It should be noted that GMC’s system offers more compatible roadways than any other system currently on the market, along with the ability to tow while using it. Off-Road Performance The Hummer EV was created with off-roading in mind, and it has a variety of features that make it capable of overcoming difficult terrain. In addition to CrabWalk, the vehicle has Adaptive Air Ride Suspension that can raise and lower by up to six inches—this is also the system that engages when Watts to Freedom is activated. The added ground clearance you get gives you more confidence when off-roading, while the ability to lower the truck offers improved highway aerodynamics. A number of terrain settings are also available, which supplement the suspension system and enhance the vehicle's performance when faced with out-of-the-box situations. Whether it's sand, rocks, or mud, the Hummer EV can adapt throttle response, braking, and power distribution to handle any scenario. Additionally, the GMC Hummer EV can be equipped with UltraVision, which provides you with up to 18 available camera views, including waterproof class-exclusive underbody front and rear-facing cameras that give you the real-time information you need to tackle any terrain. Exterior and Interior Styling The Hummer EV retains the muscular, military-inspired look that made the original Hummer so popular, but with a futuristic twist. Its powerful chassis, prominent grille, and wide stance exude strength and toughness, but modern features like LED lighting, an Infinity Roof, Transparent Sky Panels, and more—including a Power Swing Gate—are all about innovation. Inside, the Hummer EV has high-quality materials and cutting-edge technology, including a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 13.4-inch infotainment display. You’ll find that its luxury features are comparable to premium electric SUVs while still maintaining the ruggedness and durability you would expect from a Hummer. Check Out the GMC Hummer EV Today The GMC Hummer EV is more than simply a truck or SUV; it makes a statement. It pushes the boundaries of what is possible in the electric vehicle industry by including cutting-edge innovations while retaining the Hummer brand's off-road expertise and looks. With a perfect blend of luxury, performance, and sustainability, the Hummer EV distinguishes itself in the new era of electric trucks and SUVs, making it a great choice to consider when looking for a vehicle that can take you wherever you want to go. What Do We Know About the 2025 GMC Yukon and Terrain?

One of the many things we love about GMC's lineup is its wide variety. There are tough trucks, zero-emission EVs, and SUVs of all shapes and sizes. For the 2025 model year, SUV fans at both ends of the size spectrum have something to get excited about. The compact Terrain and full-size Yukon will both be entering new generations, bringing new styles, new tech, and even more to love. more As your GMC dealer near Charlotte, we keep our ears to the ground here at LaFontaine Buick GMC Lansing so we can bring you all the latest news and make it easy for you to make informed decisions now and in the future. At this point, there's still a lot that's unknown about the 2025 Yukon and Terrain, but we're here to let you know what's been confirmed so far and what we can predict about things to come. Let's dive in and see what's coming next for these beloved SUVs. Celebrating Some Big Anniversaries Two trims offered on these SUVs are celebrating major milestones in 2024. The rugged AT4 trim is turning five, having first appeared on the Sierra 1500 in 2019, and the luxurious Denali trim is now a quarter of a century old, celebrating 25 years since it first became available on the 1999 Yukon. Both of these trims are top-tier options that already get a lot of attention from GMC, but you can expect both to be under an even brighter spotlight to mark the occasion. Whether you like to drive around the streets of Maple City in ultimate comfort behind the wheel of a Denali or explore Michigan's wild side in a capable AT4, this year is special, and you can count on GMC to pull out all the stops. What's Been Officially Confirmed? Two popular models entering new generations is a big deal, and GMC isn't going to let all of the surprises out of the bag at once. At the time of writing, not many details have been officially confirmed for either the Terrain or the Yukon. We can confidently report that the Terrain will have a bolder look, according to the latest press releases from GMC. The new front fascia design for the off-road AT4 trim has been teased, and it's sure to turn heads down at Bundy Hill Off-Road Recreation or any other OHV park in Michigan and beyond. The Yukon AT4 will have a similar look, with a redesigned front fascia, new headlights, and an updated grille coming together to refresh the look of the entire front end for a bolder, more modern appearance. We know that the Yukon will also have enhanced capability, advanced tech, and bold design across the lineup. We Can Look to Chevy for More Information Looking at the short press releases GMC released, it's easy to be impatient when you get to the last sentence and see that more information will be released "later in the year." Without many details to sink your teeth into, it can be hard to know what exactly you should expect from these next-generation SUVs. But we do have a trick up our sleeves to help us make some educated guesses: the 2025 Chevrolet lineup. GMC and Chevy have the same parent company, General Motors, and many models in one brand are equivalent to the other. For example, the GMC Terrain is based on the same platform as the Chevy Equinox, the GMC Yukon shares a platform with the Chevy Tahoe, and the GMC Yukon XL shares a platform with the Chevy Suburban. Since the 2025 models of these Chevy vehicles also mark the start of a new generation, we can look at the upgrades they got to see what kinds of changes we can expect to see on their GMC siblings. Of course, we need to keep in mind that GMC vehicles have more upscale styling and more luxurious features than their Chevy equivalents, so you can expect even more upgrades and advanced features for the Terrain and Yukon. What the Equinox Might Foreshadow for the Terrain The upgrades made to the 2025 Equinox shine some light on what we can expect for the Terrain. The more square-jawed look of the exterior matches the theme of "bold and assertive" and is similar to the slice of Terrain front end that has already been revealed, though, of course, the details on the Terrain will be more in line with a GMC brand look and feel, with different trim. The Equinox also has a wider stance for the new generation, and we can expect the Terrain to gain those few inches as well. Perhaps the biggest change to the Equinox is the tech lineup. While the 2024 model had a standard 7-inch touchscreen or available 8-inch touchscreen, the 2025 model comes standard with an 11.3-inch touchscreen and 11-inch driver information display behind the dashboard. The 2024 Terrain also has an available 8-inch touchscreen and 8-inch driver information display, so it wouldn't be much of a leap to assume that these screens will get larger and be made standard across the lineup of trims. Larger screens are easier to use and to read at a glance, so you can keep your eyes on the road for as long as possible, especially on busy highways like I-69. Will the Terrain get the exact same 11-inch screens as the Equinox? Not necessarily. When the GMC Acadia entered a new generation for the 2024 model year, it got a new 15-inch vertical touchscreen, and some in the industry think that the Terrain might get a similar setup. Looking at the Acadia, we can also see a few other upgrades that might apply to the next-generation Terrain, like upgrades to the AT4 and Denali trims and the addition of General Motors' hands-free cruise control feature (Super Cruise) to the lineup of available tech features. One thing that the 2024 Acadia and 2025 Equinox both have in common is the addition of Google Built-In to the infotainment system, so you can expect that the 2025 Terrain will likely have built-in Google apps for navigation, music streaming, and more. What the Tahoe and Suburban Might Foreshadow for the Yukon The 2025 Tahoe and Suburban got a similar slate of upgrades, many of which will likely apply to the 2025 Yukon and Yukon XL. The most concrete example is the more powerful diesel engine. Since the Chevy and GMC models currently have the same lineup of powertrains, it makes sense that the Yukon will replace its 2024 diesel offering with the new one, which adds 38 hp and 35 lb-ft of torque for a total of 305 hp and 495 lb-ft. That power can come in handy if you want to bring a boat out to Thornapple Lake or use a trailer to help your teen move everything they need into a Michigan State dorm room. The Chevy SUVs also received a retuned suspension system and more refined steering system, so its GMC siblings will likely have an even smoother ride than they currently do when they enter the next generation. Like the Equinox, the Tahoe and Suburban also got larger displays. Since they're bigger SUVs, they got even bigger screens, replacing the 10.2-inch touchscreen on the 2024 model with a massive 17.7-inch display paired with an 11-inch driver information display behind the wheel. The 2024 Yukon also has a 10.2-inch touchscreen, so it's almost certainly going to get a similar upgrade for the new generation, making camera views and other information easier to see at a glance. These Great SUVs Will Be Getting Even Better More details are going to be released later this year, but we already have plenty to get excited about. The bold new exteriors these SUVs are getting are sure to turn heads, and the upgraded tech inside will make all kinds of features easier to use, from driver assistance and safety tech to music streaming and communication on the go. Whether you're cruising around Charlotte or heading out on a road trip, you'll be doing so in comfort and style. We can't wait to find out what other upgrades we have to look forward to, and we're excited to share these next-gen models with you when they're ready to launch.
